Our Story

How It Started

The idea for Hailo came from owning a home care agency.

People on our team owned an in-home care agency, so we know what the work takes: the calls, the schedule, the caregivers, the families, and the hours of admin wrapped around all of it.

We also saw the software agencies are sold. It was built to be complex, not efficient, and made for large agencies with the staff and systems to run it. It just wasn’t what the people doing the work needed.

The Problem

Most home care software is built for complexity, not efficiency.

It assumes a back office: a billing team, an IT person, a long setup. Smaller and newer agencies get the same maze, and the owner ends up spending the day on admin instead of with clients.

Our Mission

Help smaller and newer agencies get started, and spend their time on care instead of admin.

Simple on purpose

The everyday work should take a few taps, not a training course. If a small office can’t run Hailo on a busy Monday, we’re not done building it.

Made for getting started

You shouldn’t need a billing department or an IT person to run good software. We set Hailo up with you, so a new agency can take on its first clients and hire its first caregivers without a long rollout.

Time back for care

Every hour Hailo takes off your plate is an hour an owner, scheduler or caregiver can spend with clients. That’s the whole point.

Our Team

The people building Hailo.

We’re a small team, and agencies in early access work with us directly, from the first setup call on.

Aman Gandhi

Aman started Hailo to give home care agencies, especially smaller and newer ones, one simple system for the work that fills their day: answering every inquiry call, recruiting caregivers, filling shifts, and getting everyone paid on time. Aman works directly with the agencies in early access, from their first setup call to deciding what gets built next.

Our Manifesto

Less admin. More care.

Home care software built for the people doing the work, so more of every day goes to clients and caregivers.
